Kelsey Grammer<\/a> had “no remorse” after abruptly ending their marriage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Camille Grammer has slammed ex-husband Kelsey Grammer<\/p>\n
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star split from the Frasier actor – with whom she has daughter Mason, 24, and 20-year-old son Jude – in 2010 after 13 years of marriage and just weeks later, he announced he was expecting a baby with Kayte Walsh, who he later made his fourth wife.<\/p>\n
And Camille has hit out at her ex-husband over the “very harsh “message he sent her after ending their relationship.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the Humble Brag podcast, she told former Real Housewives stars Cynthia Bailey and Crystal Kung Minkoff: “He sent me a text saying, ‘I feel no remorse for what I am doing.’<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd that was very harsh because I was very much in love with him and I believed he was very much in love with me. We did have very many good years in our marriage, and a lot of fun times.”<\/p>\n
\nThe former couple finalised their divorce in February 2011 and have never spoken since despite having two children together.<\/p>\n
\nCamille said: \u201cHe called it parallel parenting and that\u2019s what it was like.”<\/p>\n
\nHowever, the 57-year-old reality star claimed she had to reach out to Kelsey several times after their split because the “machine” of people behind him, including his fans, criticised her online and in the media.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I remember calling him and saying, ‘Get your bulldogs off of me.’<\/p>\n
\n“I felt like I was getting kicked from every angle and I wasn’t getting a break,” she continued. “I couldn’t come up for air. It’s being thrown in the middle of the ocean without a life raft and drowning.”<\/p>\n
\nCamille felt 71-year-old Kelsey – who has four children with Kayte and eight in total – used to \u201cbash\u201d her as much as he could up until \u201ca few years ago” but she has refused to stand by quietly.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI think Kelsey would have been happy for me to just fade away. But then no, here I am and now I can defend myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nCamille expressed sympathy for other Real Housewives stars having their marriage problems play out on TV.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI feel bad for every woman going through divorce that people watch [on] these shows and defend the ex-husband. I hate that.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNot all these ladies are perfect \u2026 but we\u2019re still moms and we have children.\u201d<\/p>\n
