Or are critics jumping to conclusions?<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-they-may-have-split-but\">\u2018They may have split, but \u2026\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>A source close to the erstwhile couple told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/17\/celebrity-news\/pete-davidsons-pals-deny-claims-comedian-is-neglecting-ex-elsie-hewitt-and-baby\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Page Six<\/a><\/em> that \u201cPete has been paying for everything related to Elsie and Scottie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to that same insider, he\u2019s been covering \u201cthe rent, their living expenses, their health insurance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The source continued: \u201cThey may have split but all he wants is for Elsie to be happy and in a good place.
