Janet Jackson<\/strong><\/a> was surrounded by love as she turned 60.<\/p>\n

The \u201cRhythm Nation\u201d singer shared a sweet Instagram<\/a> video on Sunday, May 17, documenting her celebrations, featuring friends and family, including her older sister, La Toya Jackson<\/strong><\/a>, 69, throwing her an all-day party.<\/p>\n

In the 10-minute video, Janet was seen arriving at a house filled with decorations celebrating her 60th as loved ones greeted her. The partygoers can be seen drinking and dancing, singing \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d and praising Janet in heartfelt speeches.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so grateful for the outpouring of love today. You have all made my 60th so special,\u201d Janet captioned the video. \u201cEvery single post, tribute, and wish touches my heart. I thank God for every additional day of life and for putting each of you in it. Wishing you all returned blessings & I look forward to seeing you soon. I love you. \u2665\ufe0f J.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the late Michael Jackson was perhaps the most famous member of the talented family, and his sister Janet a close second, most of their eight siblings worked in music and entertainment since childhood. Janet turned 60 on Saturday, May 16.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram tribute, Janet\u2019s older brother, Jackie Jackson<\/strong>, wrote<\/a>, \u201cHappy Birthday to my incredible sister Janet! \ud83c\udf89 So proud of the woman and legend you are. Wishing you love, joy, and endless blessings today and always. Love you, sis! \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n

Janet is the youngest of the 10 Jackson siblings born to Joe<\/strong> and Katherine Jackson<\/strong>. Her older brother, the King of Pop Michael Jackson<\/strong>, died at age 50 in June 2009 from cardiac arrest, which was caused by a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose.<\/p>\n

Michael was recently commemorated on the big screen in the biopic Michael<\/em>, starring his nephew Jaafar Jackson<\/strong>, who is the son of his brother Jermaine Jackson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Janet is not depicted as a character in the hit movie, which also stars Colman Domingo<\/strong> as Jackson patriarch Joe and Nia Long<\/strong> as matriarch Katherine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish everybody was in the movie. She was asked and she kindly declined so you have to respect her wishes,\u201d La Toya told Variety<\/em><\/a> at the movie\u2019s Los Angeles premiere in April. (Janet did not attend the premiere.)<\/p>\n

Michael<\/em> has also been criticized by the late pop star\u2019s only daughter<\/a>, Paris Jackson<\/strong>, after Domingo reportedly claimed that Paris helped him prepare for his role as Joe.<\/p>\n
