Actress Elsie, 30, shared the request via Instagram Stories about wanting help to raise her girl Scottie Rose, shortly after it was reported she and comedian Pete, 32, had ended their relationship after 14 months together. <\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI\u2019m currently trying to find an assistant \/ mother\u2019s helper \/ nanny type \/ basically (a) right hand person.<\/p>\n
\u201cApply here if qualified and serious.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnly looking @ responses with resumes. ($ of course.)\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe post arrived amid growing attention around her and Pete\u2019s separation, first reported on Saturday by Us Weekly. According to the publication, sources close to the couple said the pressures of becoming new parents contributed to the split.<\/p>\n
\nAn insider told the outlet: \u201cThey are still sorting things out as it pertains to their split. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThey tried to make it work but there were different stressors, including having a baby together as two people who didn\u2019t yet know each other that well.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe source continued: \u201cThey are both trying to make it work and have made accommodations in their schedules for the baby.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nA second source claimed reconciliation was unlikely, while insisting the pair remained focused on co-parenting their daughter.<\/p>\n
\nThe insider added: \u201cThey are still rooting for each other but are each going their own ways, outside of working to coparent and focusing on their baby.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPete and Elsie began dating in March 2025 after being photographed together publicly before announcing in July they were expecting a child. <\/p>\n
\nTheir relationship quickly became one of the most closely followed celebrity romances online, particularly given Pete\u2019s previous engagements and relationships with stars including Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Kate Beckinsale and Chase Sui Wonders.<\/p>\n
\nIn January, Pete and Elsie spoke jointly to Us Weekly about plans for marriage and expanding their family further.<\/p>\n
\nPete said: \u201cYeah, we\u2019ll do all that stuff.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think, obviously, we talk about next steps and all that stuff. But right now, we\u2019re just, like, let\u2019s get this routine with this baby down.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cThe first three months of the baby is, you\u2019re just keeping her alive. We\u2019re already, like, we\u2019re gonna have another one.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPete has also recently spoken publicly about fatherhood on his Pete Davidson Show podcast, describing milestones with Scottie Rose as he balances parenting with a busy filming and stand-up schedule. <\/p>\n
\nThe comedian has spent the past year touring new material while continuing work on film projects following the success of semi-autobiographical comedy The King of Staten Island, directed by Judd Apatow.<\/p>\n
