We’re seeing double! <\/p>\n

Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong> drummer Chad Smith<\/strong><\/a> opened Will Ferrell<\/strong><\/a>‘s monologue on Saturday Night Live<\/em> on Saturday (May 16), impersonating the actor. <\/p>\n

Chad<\/strong>‘s resemblance to Will<\/strong> has been joked about for many years! <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be back hosting Saturday Night Live<\/em>,\u201d Chad<\/strong> said as Will<\/strong>. \u201cI was a cast member here for seven years. And now I\u2019m hosting for the sixth time! Amazing, it really feels like coming home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will<\/strong> then makes his own entrance, bewildered by the takeover. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat the hell do you think you\u2019re doing? You\u2019re not the host. I am!\u201d Will<\/strong> said. \u201cWhat the hell is wrong with you? He pushed me down backstage. And I fell, hard. Lorne<\/strong> had to give me mouth-to-mouth. Seriously, what are you even doing here?\u201d<\/p>\n

After kicking Chad<\/strong> off stage, Will<\/strong> said, “Don’t clap for him. He’s a bad guy. God, I’m sorry. That was weird, right? It was really weird. You know what? Let’s just do a hard reset.” <\/p>\n

He later took a question from the audience, and the question came from none other than musical guest Paul McCartney<\/strong><\/a>! <\/p>\n

\u201cI have a question. What do you think you\u2019re doing, Chad<\/strong>?\u201d Paul<\/strong> asked. <\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I understand your confusion,” Will<\/strong> replied. “Me and Chad<\/strong> do look a lot alike. But I\u2019m Will<\/strong>. I\u2019m hosting tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul <\/strong>responded, “Nice try, Chad<\/strong>. Get back. Get back behind the drums where you belong.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will<\/strong> then named songs Paul<\/strong> has written over the years, listing out several Beatles<\/strong>, Wings<\/strong> and solo hits. <\/p>\n

“But people often forget there\u2019s some great songs you didn\u2019t write,\u201d Will <\/strong>said. \u201cThe alphabet song. \u2018Timber\u2019 featuring Pitbull<\/strong>. All the Smash Mouth<\/strong> stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGet your ass behind the drums, Chad<\/strong>,\u201d Paul<\/strong> lamented. <\/p>\n
