He was slated for execution on nine different dates and was served a last meal on at least three occasions.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Supreme Court vacated the conviction in February 2025 and he is set to be retried for murder. Prosecutors allege that Glossip ordered the murder of his former boss, motel owner <strong>Barry Van Treese<\/strong>, who was beaten to death in January 1997. Erik and Lyle were originally arrested in 1990 on two counts of first-degree murder after their parents, Jos\u00e9 and Kitty Men\u00e9ndez, were found dead in their [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Judge <strong>Natalie Mai<\/strong> set Glossip\u2019s bond at $500,000, which was posted Thursday by Kardashian, 45, according to film producer <strong>Scott Budnick<\/strong>, a longtime advocate for Glossip\u2019s release.<\/p>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYVxqF0GknQ\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> post on Thursday, Budnick said Glossip was \u201creleased on bail that was GRACIOUSLY paid for immediately by @kimkardashian who\u2019s been fighting for Rich\u2019s freedom for years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the <em>Associated Press<\/em>, Glossip was released on the conditions that he must wear an electronic monitoring device, must not travel outside of Oklahoma, must not have any contact with witnesses in his case, and must not consume drugs or alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just thankful for my wife and my attorneys. Just thankful.
