Paul McCartney is doing the press rounds to promote his new album “The Boys of Dungeon Lane”. While the 83-year-old is out giving interviews to “newer” platforms like podcasts, don’t expect to see him on Broski Royal Court anytime soon. <\/p>\n
In an interview with ‘The Rest is Entertainment’, he was asked what modern day societal archetype confuses him and he said he just “doesn’t really get” influencers. <\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019s funny \u2013 and I suppose it always happened \u2013 but people who don\u2019t seem to be particularly talented are incredibly famous. Billions of hits and views,\u201d McCartney did concede, \u201cYou\u2019ve got to be careful about saying that, because it makes you sound very old-fashioned,\u201d before adding, \u201cWhich I am.\u201d
<\/p>\n\u201cThink about it. What were we doing when we started? We\u2019re at school, you go to the careers master and he tells you you\u2019re hopeless \u2013 there\u2019s nothing out there for you. And then you get in a group and start to do well. What is it you\u2019re looking for? Approval. Money.\u201d<\/p>\n
