Rooms there can go for as much as $2,000 per night.<\/p>\n<p>His wife, Heidi Montag, is with their children in Santa Barbara.<\/p>\n<p>When confronted with what appears to be a transparent lie, Pratt told <em>TMZ<\/em>: \u201cI have never told anyone I lived there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As you can see in the clip of his ad that this next video uses before debunking it, Pratt declared: \u201cThis is where I live.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DYSeKq3s5yn\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-he-argues-that-his-campaign-lie-is-semantics\">He argues that his campaign lie is \u2018semantics\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cThat is where I live,\u201d Pratt insisted when confronted about his lie. \u201cThat\u2019s where Karen Bass, Mayor Bass, burnt down my house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We should just interject and note that Mayor Bass did not start the wildfire. There are legitimate grievances against any politician, and some are unfairly blamed for slow recovery after a disaster. <\/p>\n<p>Pretending that the mayor\u2019s office committed <em>arson <\/em>seems, at best, childish.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is where I will live until I have a new house,\u201d Pratt continued. \u201cThe Airstream is a temporary facility. It\u2019s an odd choice for someone who is supposedly campaigning because of a natural disaster to support the tech that leads to worse climate and less available water.<\/p>\n<p>One particularly malicious billboard appears to show a slop image of his own wife pushing a stroller through a homeless encampment, a blaze behind her, and \u201cZombieland\u201d written in place of the Hollywood sign.<\/p>\n<p>Vilifying the unhoused is a common sinister move. Likening them to the ravenous undead is particularly vile.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Pratt\u2019s obvious lack of qualifications and the things that have been transparently wrong with him, on and off of reality television, for a good two decades now \u2026 we cannot rule out that an unqualified reality TV dirtbag will win. It\u2019s happened at higher offices than mayor.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, the people of Los Angeles will see through both provable lies and incendiary slop and keep Pratt irrelevant.
