Right now George Floyd is looking up at us all laughing so hard he can\u2019t breathe,\u201d Hinchliffe said at one point.<\/p>\n<p>For obvious reasons, the Gianna and George Floyd Foundation found the joke objectionable.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/05\/11\/george-floyd-family-angry-over-kevin-hart-roast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TMZ<\/a>, a spokesperson for the organization said that Tony\u2019s joke and Kevin\u2019s tacit approval of his fellow comic\u2019s \u201cracist\u201d humor is \u201csad for the culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Hinchcliffe was the one who made the joke, the foundation alleges that Netflix and Hart should not have been surprised, as Tony has a history of making jokes about Floyd.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tony Hinchcliffe made a WILD George Floyd joke while roasting Kevin Hart \ud83d\udc80<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Black community is so proud of you\u2026 right now George Floyd is looking up at us all laughing so hard he can\u2019t breathe.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/33T2anzhja\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/33T2anzhja<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Killa \ud83c\udf3a (@KillaKreww) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KillaKreww\/status\/2053770367227846961?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 11, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>At 2024\u2019s roast of Tom Brady, Tony joked that Brady\u2019s former teammate Rob Gronkowski \u201clooked like the final boss in George Floyd the video game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>George\u2019s daughter, Gianna Floyd, was just six years old when her father was killed.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s 12 now, and the foundation says that she\u2019s been bullied relentlessly at school.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, the foundation is of the belief that jokes from Hinchcliffe and company have the capacity to cause real-world harm to someone like Gianna.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are trying to rebuild things for our community and make things better in our community,\u201d the organization said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s try to be a little bit more positive and not sit up there doing colon inspections by white comedians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The foundation seems to be suggesting that Tony has inserted his head up his backside.
