Pete Davidson<\/a> Show podcast at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater on Sunday (10.05.26), People magazine reports he said: “I’m so excited for my daughter to get older<\/p>\n\u201c[She] is five months old now. She’s doing tummy time. She is really, really communicative. She’s trying to talk now. She’ll talk all day, but it’s just she’s going ‘la’.<\/p>\n
“So we kind of talk all day, and she’s so young.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe’s so cute and chunky. It’s been really awesome. It’s been so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJohn has Malcolm, four, and Mei, 19 months, with wife Olivia Munn, and the toddler is already “very expressive”.<\/p>\n
\nHe added: “If you turn on music, no matter what’s happening, she could be sobbing and screaming, and then if you turn on any song she’s dancing.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd the toddler \u201cloves food so much.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nJohn explained: “M\u00e9i will be gagging on something and take another bite [she] is so funny.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPete recently admitted he is less concerned about “people pleasing” since becoming a dad.<\/p>\n
\nHe told Elite Daily: \u201cI\u2019ve always had anxiety about people pleasing and wanting to be the best at everything.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut now I\u2019m like, \u2018If I could do that, that\u2019d be cool. But if not, I get to hang out with [Scottie].\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe former Saturday Night Live star and model Elsie also discussed the inspiration behind their daughter’s name, beyond her being named after Pete’s dad Scott Davidson, a firefighter who died during the 9\/11 terrorist attacks in 2001.<\/p>\n
\nPete said: \u201cShe was conceived in Scotland.”<\/p>\n
\nElsie added: \u201cWe always knew that was the one we were going to come back to, because it was the most meaningful. It’s also so cute.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe baby also shares her mother and aunts’ middle name.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: \u201cMy middle name is Rose, and both of my sisters\u2019 middle names are also Rose, because my mom\u2019s maiden name had Rose in it.<\/p>\n
\n \u201cSo I wanted to have a little special part of them in her name, too.\u201d<\/p>\n
