Jake Shane<\/strong><\/a>‘s new interview with Kacey Musgraves<\/strong><\/a> is going viral.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the 37-year-old Grammy-winning singer appeared on the 26-year-old influencer’s podcast Therapuss<\/a><\/em> to chat about her new album Middle of Nowhere<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During their chat, Jake<\/strong> and Kacey<\/strong> discussed her 2018 song “Slow Burn,” which she says is the song she’s most proud of.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think ultimately, maybe \u2018Slow Burn.\u2019 I think it feels the best,” Kacey <\/strong>said. “I feel like I\u2019m at home in my dead center whenever I\u2019m playing that song.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jake<\/strong> then asked, \u201cMy favorite line from that song, obviously, is \u2018Sun\u2019s going down, but in Beijing, they\u2019re headed out to work.\u2019 What do you mean by that? Me and Manny, who I work with, debate it every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kacey<\/strong> responded that the meaning behind the lyric is not a \u201cdeep-coded thing\u201d and \u201cliterally just means what it means,” before explaining how time zones work to Jake<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was sitting on my porch in Tennessee, and picturing these people around the world, doing their thing over there,” Kacey<\/strong> said. “You know, it\u2019s like the world just keeps turning.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you didn’t see, Kacey<\/strong> confirmed that she “beefed” with this fellow country music singer<\/a>.<\/p>\n
