Actress Jenny Mollen<\/strong><\/a> is breaking down the plastic surgery procedure she had to fix her \u201cuneven vagina.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Angel alum, 46, told Page Six<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Friday, May 8, that she decided \u201con a whim\u201d to have a vaginoplasty, a.k.a. posterior colporrhaphy, which reconstructs or repairs the vagina \u201cdue to damage from medical conditions, injury or other factors,\u201d according to the Cleveland Clinic. It is also used to \u201ctighten the vagina,\u201d according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut then I had to commit to the bit,\u201d Mollen said of getting the procedure during a spa trip to Austria with friends, calling the surgery \u201cinsane.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharing insight into why she wanted the vaginoplasty, Mollen continued, \u201cI noticed, \u2018Why is everyone\u2019s vagina so even?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Mollen previously teased the procedure via Instagram on Thursday, May 7.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to Dr. Sassoon, we\u2019re going to my OB,\u201d she said in the clip. \u201cMy vagina lips are, like, not the same length. I just basically want to make the one that\u2019s there, maybe I\u2019m gonna, like, lop it off.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Girls<\/em> alum added, \u201cI just want to have a really cute, basic vagina.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mollen admitted that after seeing other women\u2019s lady parts in Austria, she felt \u201csomewhat insecure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just weird. I don\u2019t want to be unique in that way,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Mollen added that she asked her sister and mom to send photos of their vaginas so that she could see what they looked like.<\/p>\n

In the exam room, her doctor told her that she \u201cdefinitely\u201d has a size difference in her labia but reassured her that this is not \u201cabnormal\u201d and it\u2019s \u201cjust the way you were born.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video then showed Mollen heading into surgery.<\/p>\n
