Actors\u00a0Brad Pitt<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0Angelina Jolie<\/a><\/b>\u00a0are parents to six kids \u2014 Maddox<\/a>, Pax<\/a>, Zahara<\/a>, Shiloh<\/a> and twins Vivienne and Knox<\/a>. Their children range quite a bit in size, and they change year by year in the public eye.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Brad stands around 5-foot-11, while Angelina has a tall frame at 5-foot-7, so it\u2019s no surprise that Shiloh seems to have her mother\u2019s stature. While the teen definitely bears\u00a0a resemblance to both of her famous parents, all of Brad and Angelina\u2019s kids have unique birth stories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Angelina adopted Maddox as an infant in 2002 while she was in Cambodia filming\u00a0Lara Croft: Tomb Raider<\/i>. The actress said she knew almost instantly that she was meant to find her child during her trip to southeastern Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn 2001, I was in a school program in Samlout playing blocks on the floor with a little kid, and as clear as day, I thought, \u2018My son is here,’\u201d she told\u00a0Vogue India<\/i>. \u201cA few months later, I met baby Mad at an orphanage. I can\u2019t explain it \u2014 and [I] am not one to believe in messages or superstition \u2014 but it was just real and clear.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0Maleficent<\/i>\u00a0actress began her relationship with Brad in 2004 while filming their movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Shortly after, Angelina adopted daughter Zahara in 2005 from Ethiopia when the infant was 6 months old<\/a>. Pax was adopted from Vietnam when he was 3 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings, with new people and a new language,\u201d the Salt<\/i> actress\u00a0told People<\/i> at the time. \u201cHe is very strong.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to their adopted children, Brad and Angelina welcomed their first biological child, daughter Shiloh<\/a>, in 2006. The Los Angeles native gave birth at a private clinic in the resort town of Walvis Bay in Namibia. At the time, Brad called Shiloh\u2019s arrival \u201ctruly peaceful.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Two years later, in 2008, Angie gave birth to the couple\u2019s twins, son Knox and daughter Vivienne, in Nice, France.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While all of their kids spent quite a bit of their lives globetrotting, the former Hollywood couple put down roots in Los Angeles for the sake of custody and visitation following their 2016 divorce filing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Angelina and Brad\u2019s kids were born all over the world, the\u00a0Girl, Interrupted\u00a0<\/i>actress said she finds a way to connect with all of her children<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cEach is a beautiful way of becoming family.
