Rebecca Gayheart<\/strong> <\/a>is continuing to mourn her late husband and father of her children, Eric Dane.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Posting via her Instagram Stories<\/a> on Wednesday, May 7, Gayheart, 54, shared a post commemorating the actor following his death.<\/p>\n

The photo showed a plaque that read \u201cIn Loving Memory of Eric William Dane. 1972-2026.\u201d It was surrounded by what appeared to be meaningful mementos, such as poker chips, cigars and other items. A vibrant pink flower could also be seen in the image and Gayheart had selected Lana Del Rey\u2019<\/strong>s \u201cSay Yes to Heaven\u201d to accompany the post.<\/p>\n

The post comes almost three months after Dane\u2019s family confirmed his death<\/a> following a battle with ALS. He was 53.<\/p>\n

Gayheart, 54, shared multiple throwback family photos with Dane and their two daughters via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, February 21, in addition to a link endorsing a GoFundMe campaign meant to financially support their kids in the wake of [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWith heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS,\u201d a statement shared with Us Weekly on February 19 read. \u201cHe spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world.<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cThroughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he\u2019s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Euphoria<\/em> star first publicly revealed his ALS diagnosis<\/a> with People<\/em> in April 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been diagnosed with ALS,\u201d he told the outlet in a statement at the time. \u201cI am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gayheart, who was married to Dane from 2004 to 2018, made a rare comment about Dane\u2019s death<\/a> on March 18 as she grieved the loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are no words,\u201d Gayheart wrote via Instagram. \u201cAll our love forever \u2014 your girls \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83e\ude79\u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n
