James Lafferty<\/strong><\/a> and Stephen Colletti<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s show, Everyone Is Doing Great<\/em>, was already a One Tree Hill<\/em><\/a> reunion \u2014 but the pair are bringing on more fan-favorites from the beloved teen series for season 2.<\/p>\n

Bryan Greenberg<\/strong>, who played Jake Jagielski on OTH<\/em>, and Robbie Jones<\/strong>, who played Quentin Fields, are among the guest stars joining the fold for the second installment of Everyone Is Doing Great<\/em>, a self-referential and heavily improvised comedy series created by, written by and starring Lafferty, 40, and Colletti, 40. Greenberg\u2019s wife, Jamie Chung<\/strong>, will also make an appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was such a gift to work with them,\u201d Lafferty, 40, told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively of reuniting with Greenberg, 47, and Jones, 48, ahead of the season 2 premiere of the show on Netflix. \u201cThey just went like wildfire. They\u2019re two of my favorite scenes in the whole season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Everyone Is Doing Great<\/em>, which follows two teen heartthrobs navigating the brutal realities of Hollywood years after their beloved TV show came to an end \u2014 sound familiar? \u2014 originally premiered on Hulu in 2021. Now, five years later, Netflix has picked up the rights to the show and greenlit a second season. (Both seasons 1 and 2 will be streaming starting Monday, May 11.)<\/p>\n

Drawing from Lafferty and Colletti\u2019s experiences post-One Tree Hill<\/em>, the show also costars Lafferty\u2019s wife, Alexandra Park<\/strong>, as his character\u2019s wife, and fellow Aussie actress Cariba Heine<\/strong> rounds out the quad of friends and lovers at the core of the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first got on One Tree Hill<\/em> back in 2006 or so, it was such a big moment for me in my life, wanting to continue to work on that show and even getting that job in the first place,\u201d Colletti recalled to Us<\/em>. \u201cSo to finally, full-circle, be back with one of my good friends from that show, and to have our own show back shooting there\u2026 has been really, really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt\u2019s hard to look back at teen dramas without remembering One Tree Hill, and decades later fans are still talking about its explosive cast. The series, created by Mark Schwahn, aired for nine seasons from 2003 to 2012. It premiered on The WB then moved over to The CW in 2006 when The WB was [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Laguna Beach<\/em> alum is referencing a portion of season 1 that takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina \u2014 a.k.a. the real-life \u201cTree Hill\u201d \u2014 and die-hard fans will notice Easter eggs nodding to the show throughout, including a shot of Brooke Davis\u2019 iconic home.<\/p>\n

\u201cBryan and Robbie\u2019s scenes are fantastic. They are hilarious,\u201d Colletti said of reuniting with his fellow OTH<\/em> alums. \u201cI think one of Bryan\u2019s scenes we moved up in one of the episodes because we were like, \u2018This is so good. We want to get this closer to the beginning of the episode.\u2019 He\u2019s so great. He brought it for us, and Robbie as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cFans can really look forward to their characters. It\u2019s going to be something different from what they\u2019re used to from those guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

If \u2014 fingers crossed \u2014 the show is greenlit for a season 3, would they continue the trend of bringing aboard members of the One Tree Hill<\/em> family?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re an independent show, so I think we\u2019re always going to be calling in favors,\u201d joked Lafferty.<\/p>\n

Park, 36, added: \u201cWe\u2019ll keep trying. One of the amazing things about this show is that we will have an idea in the writer\u2019s room and come up with something, and because we\u2019re a mostly improvised show, there aren\u2019t any scripts. It\u2019s like we have this gift of, firstly, our very talented friends accepting our plea to come onto the show, and then secondly, being able to witness what they bring to the character.\u201d<\/p>\n
