Cape Fear<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/strong> is coming.<\/p>\n

Apple TV<\/strong><\/a>‘s psychological horror thriller limited series, which stars Amy Adams<\/strong><\/a>, Javier Bardem<\/strong><\/a> and Patrick Wilson<\/strong><\/a>, is set to debut on the streamer on Friday, June 5.<\/p>\n

The 10-episode series will premiere with two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday thought July 31.<\/p>\n

Here’s the official synopsis:<\/p>\n

Inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese<\/strong> and produced by Steven Spielberg<\/strong>, a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Adams<\/strong>) and Tom Bowden (Wilson<\/strong>) when Max Cady (Bardem<\/strong>), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison \u2014 and he wants vengeance.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Patrick Wilson<\/strong>, Joe Anders<\/strong>, Lily Collias<\/strong>, Malia Pyles<\/strong> round out the ensemble cast and the supporting cast includes CCH Pounder<\/strong>, Jamie Hector<\/strong> and Anna Baryshnikov<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The series is based on the John D. MacDonald<\/strong> book The Executioners<\/em>, which inspired Gregory Peck\u2019<\/strong>s 1962 movie of the same name, as well as the acclaimed 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
