I envision this being, like, one of my best chapters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to be busy with projects. I want to be busy with my charity. I want everything to just grow and be successful.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shannon has found a renewed sense of purpose since splitting from her husband.<\/p>\n<p>The actress &#8211; who previously founded the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation &#8211; said: &#8220;I don\u2019t like sitting around and doing nothing. I feel like I\u2019m just under-achieving. I have to do stuff, and I\u2019m working all the time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shannon is now intent on making the most of opportunities that come her way.<\/p>\n<p>She shared: &#8220;I really feel the older we get, the faster it goes. And for me, I can\u2019t even believe how much time has passed, because I feel like it was just yesterday [I was starting my career]. I don\u2019t feel any different. It doesn\u2019t feel like time has passed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shannon previously claimed to be feeling &#8220;stronger, clearer, and happier&#8221; following her separation from her husband.<\/p>\n<p>The actress &#8211; who became a sex symbol in the 90s and 2000s, after starring in Scary Movie and the American Pie film franchise &#8211; told Us Weekly: &#8220;I\u2019ve been separated since September of last year, and this has been a thoughtful, ongoing process &#8211; not something that happened in the past few days. The meaningful pieces are already behind me, and only the formalities remain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shannon &#8211; who married Simon in 2021 &#8211; added: &#8220;This is a new chapter for me, and it\u2019s one I\u2019m genuinely excited about.
