And by admitting that Ms. Lively\u2019s concerns \u201cdeserved to be heard,\u201d the defendants have ended once and for all the fiction that Ms. Lively \u201cfabricated\u201d claims of sexual harassment and retaliation. From day one Blake Lively\u2019s mission was clear: expose and hold accountable those who weaponize smear campaigns and retaliatory lawsuits to intimidate and silence survivors.\u00a0That mission continues.\u201d &#8211; Michael Gottlieb and Esra Hudson<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In their statement, her lawyers characterize the settlement as a victory for <strong>Blake <\/strong>and say the defendants agreed not to appeal certain aspects of the resolution, while also acknowledging her concerns \u201cdeserved to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They further argue the outcome undermines claims that <strong>Blake<\/strong> fabricated allegations of harassment or retaliation. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-is-the-legal-fight-over-it-does-not-appear-so\">Is the legal fight over? It does not appear so&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p>So, are things officially over? Well, according to the notice of settlement, there&#8217;s still something that has not been resolved.<\/p>\n<p>Court filings show <strong>Blake<\/strong> is still pursuing a separate motion for attorneys\u2019 fees and additional damages under California law, which remains pending before the court.
