This film successfully turned the \u201960s television show into the top action thriller of 1993. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/harrison-ford\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Harrison Ford<\/strong><\/a> led the cast as Dr. Richard Kimble, a man unjustly convicted of murdering his wife, Helen (<strong>Sela Ward<\/strong>). Rather than meekly accepting his death sentence, Richard escapes from a prison transport to look for the One-armed Man (<strong>Andreas Katsulas<\/strong>) he fought on the night of his wife\u2019s murder.<\/p>\n<p>Richard\u2019s more immediate problem is Deputy U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard, a role that earned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/tommy-lee-jones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Tommy Lee Jones<\/strong><\/a> an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Gerrard and his team relentlessly pursue Richard, and the former even figures out that the latter is trying to solve his wife\u2019s murder. In the 1950s, Los Angeles is a city of secrets, and a new crime syndicate is muscling in on the mob. Meanwhile, blockbuster films like\u00a0The Matrix and Titanic were redefining the mainstream. Thus, it\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Bud is also drawn to Lynn Bracken (Basinger), a prostitute who looks a lot like Hollywood actress<strong> Veronica Lake<\/strong>. That relationship is used against Bud to increase his conflict with Ed to the breaking point. An impromptu gang of crooks, Dean Keaton (<strong>Gabriel Byrne<\/strong>), Roger \u201cVerbal\u201d Kint (Spacey), Michael McManus (<strong>Stephen Baldwin<\/strong>), Fred Fenster (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/benicio-del-toro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Benicio del Toro<\/strong><\/a>) and Todd Hockney (<strong>Kevin Pollak<\/strong>) couldn\u2019t care less about some crime urban legend. They only got together to get back at the cops.<\/p>\n<p>In the course of their crimes, the gang is informed that they\u2019ve stolen from Keyzer S\u00f6ze, who doesn\u2019t waste any time making them pay the price. The rest of the crew includes Mr. White (<strong>Harvey Keitel<\/strong>), Mr. Orange (<strong>Tim Roth<\/strong>), Mr. Blonde (<strong>Michael Madsen<\/strong>), Mr. Pink (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/steve-buscemi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Steve Buscemi<\/strong><\/a>) and Mr. Blue (<strong>Edward Bunker<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The heist itself is never seen in the film, but the aftermath leaves members of the team dead, severely injured or on the run from the police.
