Daredevil: Born Again<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season two has officially come to an end!<\/p>\n

Disney+ debuted the season finale on Tuesday (May 5), and it teed up what’s to come in season three<\/a>, which is currently in production. <\/p>\n

At the end of the finale, there was a major return from a Marvel character! Spoilers ahead…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

In the final moments of the episode, Mike Colter<\/strong><\/a> appeared as Luke Cage! <\/p>\n

He joined Charlie Cox<\/strong><\/a>‘s Matt Cox\/Daredevil and Krysten Ritter<\/strong><\/a>‘s Jessica Jones, reuniting the trio from the Netflix series, where Jessica reopened the Alias Investigations. <\/p>\n

Luke’s appearance in the finale may not come as much of a surprise, as Mike<\/strong> has already been spotted on set of season three<\/a>, confirming his return!<\/p>\n

Also in the finale, Matt ended the trial by revealing that he was Daredevil, something Charlie<\/strong> knew was happening well before filming. <\/p>\n

He and Vincent D’Onofrio<\/strong><\/a>, who plays Mayor Wilson Fisk\/Kingpin, found out about the reveal in a phone call with Marvel’s head of television, Brad Winderbaum<\/strong>, and Born Again<\/em> producers Sana Amanat<\/strong> and Dario Scardapane<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was like,\u00a0‘Okay, this is a big challenge. It\u2019s shocking.’\u00a0I think at that point I thought maybe that would be the final season,\u201d Charlie<\/strong> told The Wrap<\/a><\/em>. \u201cSo I was a little shocked to learn quite soon after that\u00a0we were going to do another one.\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a silence, and I think I said,\u00a0‘Okay, it\u2019s a genie I don\u2019t think we can put back in the box. Or at least, I don\u2019t want to put it back in the box,’\u201c he added.<\/p>\n
