Bobby Cannavale<\/strong><\/a> is celebrating his birthday with his three kids!<\/p>\n

In honor of his 56th birthday, the Emmy-winning actor took to his Instagram<\/a> on Sunday (May 3) to share a very rare photo with his three sons – Jake<\/strong><\/a>, 31, Rocco<\/strong>, 10, and Rafa<\/strong>, 8.<\/p>\n

“What a life! 56 today, can\u2019t believe it,” Bobby <\/strong>wrote. “What an honor to be Dad to these 3. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, people. Xx”<\/p>\n

Along with his message, Bobby <\/strong>shared a photo of himself and his three sons going to blow out the candles on his birthday cake.<\/p>\n

Bobby<\/strong> shares Jake<\/strong> with ex-wife Jenny Lumet<\/strong> and shares Rocco<\/strong> and Rafa<\/strong> with longtime partner Rose Byrne<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you didn’t know, Jake<\/strong> is also an actor and he has worked with his dad on two TV shows – Nurse Jackie<\/em> and Scarpetta<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In an interview from earlier this year, Jake<\/strong> said that playing the younger version of Bobby<\/strong> in Scarpetta<\/em> brought the two of them closer together.<\/p>\n

“There’s this very sort of, dare I say, mature understanding that happens as the son of anybody when you realize what your parent does to feel this sense of purpose,” Jake<\/strong> told People<\/a><\/em>. “My dad was an actor before he was a dad, and he’ll always be both of those things, but really seeing the thing that gave him drive in this life now as a young man and not just his son was really cool and really humbling and definitely enhanced our relationship and made me a better artist, I’d say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rose<\/strong> recently defended Bobby<\/strong> for skipping the 2026 Golden Globes<\/em><\/a>, where she won Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture \u2014 Musical or Comedy for If I Had Legs I\u2019d Kick You<\/em>, to attend a reptile expo.<\/p>\n
