Cameron Diaz<\/b><\/a><\/span> has dated several <\/span>celebrities, but never thought she\u2019d get married<\/span><\/a> until she started dating her now-husband, Benji Madden<\/b><\/span><\/a>, in May 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Marriage] was the biggest thing I\u2019ve done in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways,\u201d Diaz told Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/i> in May 2016, 16 months after she and the rockstar tied the knot<\/span><\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty awesome. I didn\u2019t think it was something I\u2019d do, and I don\u2019t know if I\u2019d have done it if I hadn\u2019t met my husband. It was a surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the duo\u2019s relationship was unexpected<\/span><\/a>, they quickly became one of Hollywood\u2019s strongest couples. Diaz and Madden also expanded their family, welcoming daughter Raddix in December 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI love being a mother,\u201d Diaz said during an April 2020 YouTube interview. \u201cIt\u2019s the best, best, best part of my life. I\u2019m so grateful and so happy and it\u2019s the best thing ever, and I\u2019m so lucky to do it with Benj and we\u2019re having the best time. I\u2019m thrilled.
