Anna Wintour<\/a>, 76, were once seen as aligned figures within fashion and media circles, particularly during the duchess\u2019 collaboration with British Vogue in 2019 alongside its then-editor Edward Enninful. <\/p>\nThat issue, titled \u2018Forces for Change\u2019, placed Meghan at the heart of contemporary cultural conversation. <\/p>\n
But according to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, tensions between her and Anna are now said to have emerged during that period and have since deepened. <\/p>\n
\nThe reported fallout comes amid continued scrutiny of Meghan and Prince Harry, 41, following their departure from royal duties and recent tour of Australia, which critics branded a \u201cfaux royal tour\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nA source told the Mail: \u201cMeghan pledged her allegiance to Enninful \u2013 which p***** off Anna.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThey added: \u201cAnna hates her. Meghan doesn\u2019t want to pay, and never returns things.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe source added: \u201cAlso, Anna loves the Royal Family. She is a Dame. Anna would have hated how (the Sussexes) handled their exit from The Firm.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe claims come as Meghan continues to pursue a portfolio of ventures spanning media, lifestyle branding and public appearances. <\/p>\n
\nThe source further alleged strain behind the scenes, telling the Mail: \u201cThey have truly lost the plot. I hear (Meghan\u2019s) spiralling badly because she knows nothing is working.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThey added: \u201cThe whole thing about her (As Ever brand) stuff selling out isn\u2019t true anymore. I don\u2019t think either of them is happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeghan, who rose to prominence through her portrayal of Rachel Zane in Suits before marrying Prince Harry, has in recent months spoken about her experiences abroad, which has included the couple\u2019s high-profile visit to Australia. <\/p>\n
\nIn an interview with Women\u2019s Weekly, Meghan said: \u201cMy husband and I have such an affinity for Australia.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI said to him the day we were flying out, \u2018The only thing better than Australia are Australians\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDiscussing her fashion choices during the visit, Meghan said: \u201cOver the last several years, I would hear about an incorrect designer getting credit for something I wore, either via affiliate links or press, and that never seemed fair.\u201d She added: \u201cCredit where credit is due. These brands and designers work so hard and take great pride in their work, and I choose them for a reason.\u201d Meghan continued: \u201cEither supporting a friend, being brand loyal, or the reasons I mentioned earlier. So it\u2019s always been important to me that the correct designer is credited.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhen asked about her favourite outfit from the trip, she said: \u201cIt would be hard to choose one because I put each look together with a different vibe in mind, and I loved them all for different reasons. There wasn\u2019t always time to change between locations, so it was fun to get creative.\u201d<\/p>\n
