Olivia Wilde<\/strong><\/a> has a sense of humor about her viral moment.<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old Don’t Worry Darling <\/em>star and director recently responded to a photo going viral<\/a> following an appearance at the 2026 San Francisco International Film Festival last month.<\/p>\n

If you haven’t seen, a screenshot from a video of herself being interviewed by SFGATE<\/em> on the red carpet at the event began circulating online, and people began commenting on her seemingly gaunt appearance.<\/p>\n

In a video response posted on Sunday (May 3) to her Instagram, Olivia<\/strong>‘s brother Charles Cockburn<\/strong> is heard asking: \u201cOlivia Wilde<\/strong>, do you care to address recent rumors that you\u2019re a resurrected corpse?\u201d <\/p>\n

The video also included a side-by-side photo with Gollum from The Lord of the Rings<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, that is a fisheye lens. And I admit, is that my best angle? Was that my best ever look? No, it\u2019s a startling image,” Olivia<\/strong> said in response.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know why I was so close to the camera. I didn\u2019t have to be. That\u2019s not the truth,” she laughed, adding: “I’m not dead.”<\/p>\n

\u201cLeave it to your little brother to give you the maximum amount of s–t,” she captioned the video, which you can see on her Instagram Story.<\/a><\/p>\n
