Post Malone<\/strong> has canceled the first few weeks of his upcoming Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2<\/a><\/em><\/strong> with Jelly Roll<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old Grammy nominee posted a statement to his Instagram Story<\/a> late Friday night (May 1) to share that he wants to finish his upcoming album first before he goes on the road.<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach,\u201d he wrote in his post, \u201cI came to the realization that what we\u2019re trying to do, and what\u2019s possible, isn\u2019t really lining up. The truth is, I promised y\u2019all beautiful people new music, and I don\u2019t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain\u2019t ready for tour just yet, so I\u2019m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.\u201d<\/p>\n

The “Circles” singer continued, \u201cThat being said, I\u2019m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y\u2019all. That THAT being said, we been making some bad–s s–t for this double album\u2026 and I can\u2019t wait to perform for y\u2019all again.\u201d<\/p>\n

This decision will impact the first six scheduled dates, per Variety<\/a>. The tour would have kicked off on May 13 at El Paso’s Sun Bowl Stadium. The June 5 date in Oxford, Miss. has also been canceled, as have dates taking place in Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, and Tampa. <\/p>\n

Three festival dates have also been canceled. The tour will now start on June 9 in Charlotte, N.C.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

His planned next album will supposedly feature 50 tracks and be called The Eternal Buzz<\/em>, but there are no other details available yet. <\/p>\n

Zayn Malik<\/strong> recently announced that he was canceling all of the U.S. dates for his upcoming arena tour amid health issues. More details here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Meghan Trainor<\/strong> also canceled her planned arena tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
