Teyana Taylor<\/strong>, Patricia Arquette<\/strong>, Maude Apatow<\/strong>, Sombr<\/strong>, and Tate McRae<\/strong> were among the guests gathered at Valentino<\/em>‘s Los Angeles party recently.<\/p>\n

They were photographed at an event to celebrate the new book created with photographer Mark Borthwick<\/strong>, offering a poetic visual interpretation of the Maison’s new Haute Couture collection on Thursday night (April 29).<\/p>\n

“An evening of friends, discoveries, and encounters around Specula Mundi in California,” shared the official Valentino <\/em>Instagram account<\/a> on their post about the evening.<\/p>\n

WWD<\/a> shared additional details about the event and fashion show, including how the crowd gathered at the Marciano Art Foundation to check out a Kaiserpanorama installation and a recreation of Alessandro Michele<\/strong>‘s “Specula Mundi” couture show in Paris.<\/p>\n

The group of creatives also included Archie Madekwe<\/strong>, Charlotte Lawrence<\/strong>, Devon Lee Carlson<\/strong>, Dree Hemingway<\/strong>, Hannah Einbinder<\/strong>, Jordan Firstman<\/strong>, Maika Monroe<\/strong>, Mindy Kaling<\/strong>, Owen Thiele<\/strong>, and Paul W. Downs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Produced in a limited edition of 1,500 copies, ‘Specula Mundi’ (Latin for \u201cmirror of the world\u201d) spans 422 images across 260 pages, available from May 11 in select Valentino<\/em> boutiques worldwide for $350,” shares WWD.<\/p>\n

Maude<\/strong> wore a short floral Valentino <\/em>dress and talked about being inspired by the installation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love a girly, delicate, glamorous look,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m a huge fan of everything that Alessandro <\/strong>does. He\u2019s such an incredible artist.\u201d<\/p>\n
