From The Bear <\/em>to Outlander <\/em>to Outer Banks<\/em>, TV fans are gearing up to say goodbye to their favorite<\/a> shows in 2026.<\/p>\n

Outer Banks<\/em>, which debuted in 2020, follows the conflict between two groups of teenagers in a coastal North Carolina town. The social divide is introduced with<\/a> the wealthy residents (a.k.a. the Kooks) and the working class (the Pogues).<\/p>\n

Season 5, which wrapped production, is expected to follow<\/a> the aftermath of JJ\u2019s (Rudy Pankow<\/strong>) shocking death. The show originally received backlash when Pankow\u2019s departure was confirmed despite the writing team claiming it was always the plan to kill off the fan-favorite character.<\/p>\n

Viewers subsequently started to question whether Pankow\u2019s exit came as a result of a rumored rift between him and the cast, which includes John B (Chase Stokes)<\/strong>, Sarah (Madelyn Cline<\/strong>), Kiara (Madison Bailey<\/strong>), Pope (Jonathan Daviss<\/strong>), JJ (Pankow) and Cleo (Carlacia Grant<\/strong>). Pankow, for his part, has said that he thinks JJ\u2019s death was meant to move the story along.<\/p>\n
