\t\t<\/p>\n Keira Knightley<\/strong><\/a> and Luke Thompson<\/strong><\/a> are starring in a new play together!<\/p>\n The 41-year-old actress and the 37-year-old Bridgerton<\/em> star have been tapped to lead a stage adaptation of the 2006 Oscar-winning movie The Lives of Others<\/em><\/strong>, according to Deadline<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n Also starring in the production is Stephen Dillane<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Robert Icke<\/strong> is set to direct, and worked closely with the original movie\u2019s writer and director Florian Henckle von Donnersmarck<\/strong> on the play, which is slated to open on October 14th at the Adelphi Theatre. It will run through January 9, 2027.<\/p>\n The play is \u201ca potent tale about a playwright, Georg Dreyman (Thompson<\/strong>), his actress-girlfriend Christa-Maria Sieland (Knightley<\/strong>) and Gerd Wiesler (Dillane<\/strong>), a master Stasi interrogator instructed to bug \u2014 every which way \u2014 the couple\u2019s apartment.\u201d <\/p>\n This will mark Keira<\/strong>\u2018s first return to the stage in over ten years. She was last on Broadway in the Roundabout Theatre Company\u2019s production of Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Raquin<\/em> in 2015. Luke <\/strong>was last on stage in 2024, starring in a production of Love\u2019s Labour\u2019s Lost<\/em> at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, while Stephen<\/strong> last starred in a stage production of When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other<\/em> in 2019. <\/p>\n In case you missed it, earlier this year it was announced that Keira<\/strong> will be starring in an upcoming dark comedy<\/a> film.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
