Addison Rae<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s father, Monty Lopez<\/strong>, has been arrested for allegedly possessing a large amount of marijuana.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed via the Lafayette Police Department online records<\/a> that Lopez, 50, was booked on Tuesday, April 28, for a felony charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.<\/p>\n

In his mugshot, Lopez wore an orange shirt as he stared at the camera. TMZ<\/a><\/em> was the first to report the news.<\/p>\n

Days earlier, TMZ<\/em> reported that authorities were called to Lopez\u2019s home on Thursday, April 23. A representative for the Lafayette Police Department told the outlet that officers went to the home after receiving a mental health complaint. TMZ reported that the incident turned into a criminal investigation, which may have led to Lopez\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Lopez for comment.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time the singer\u2019s father has had a run-in with a law<\/a>. In February, Us Weekly obtained police records that Lopez was arrested for obscenity. The alleged incident occurred on August 31, 2024, at a Walgreens in Lafayette, Louisiana.<\/p>\n

Nearly one year later, Lopez was arrested in July 2025<\/a> and accused of \u201cexposing his genitals, pubic hair, in a public place or place open to public view, or in any prison or jail, with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appealed to the prurient interest or was patently offensive\u201d by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Lopez was charged with felony obscenity and a sex crime, with his bond listed as $2,500. He pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n

Lopez shares Rae, Enzo and Lucas with ex-wife<\/a> Sheri Easterling<\/strong>. He\u2019s also dad to daughter Macye Neumeyer, whom he welcomed during a previous relationship. Lopez and Easterling tied the knot in 2004 before divorcing years later. They reconciled and remarried in 2014, ultimately calling it quits for good in 2022.<\/p>\n

Rae, for her part, has been open about her complicated relationship with her dad.<\/p>\n
