\t\t<\/p>\n Taylor Swift<\/strong> is opening up about how one of her biggest hits, \u201cLove Story,\u201d actually came to be.<\/p>\n She sat down for the interview with The New York Times Magazine<\/em> after being chosen as one of the 30 Greatest Living American Songwriters.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think the first time I felt I don\u2019t care if people hate this because I love it so much was when I wrote the song \u2018Love Story\u2019<\/a> when I was 17, sitting in my bedroom, mad at my parents because they wouldn\u2019t let me go on a date with a guy who was too old so I shouldn\u2019t have been on a date with him anyway,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd this is why you need to discipline your kids because they might write songs that go [to] number one.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cOftentimes when I love it to a certain degree, that tends to match up with people. And it could be that it doesn\u2019t match up with the way people feel \u2018til six years later,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n \u201cI have this very strong opinion that when you\u2019re young you feel things on such an intense and detailed level,\u201d Taylor <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n She added, \u201cThere\u2019s an attention to detail when you\u2019re 17-22 years old and you\u2019re longing or you\u2019re reaching and grasping but you\u2019re never holding someone\u2019s attention or someone\u2019s love or someone\u2019s dedication.
