Pam Van Sant<\/strong><\/a> honored the late Treat Williams<\/a> on what would have been their 35th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n \u201cHappy anniversary honey! 35 years,\u201d the producer, 68, captioned a photo from their 1988 wedding day via Williams\u2019 Instagram Story on Sunday, June 25.<\/p>\n Van Sant showed snapshots of her and the late Everwood<\/em> star celebrating the holidays and their first wedding anniversary, which they enjoyed \u201con location in Bali,\u201d the producer wrote.<\/p>\n The anniversary came just two weeks after Williams\u2019 unexpected death<\/a>. He died after a motorcycle accident on June 12 at age 71.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off,\u201d the actor\u2019s rep, Barry McPherson, told Us Weekly<\/em> in a statement on June 12. \u201cI\u2019m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.\u201d<\/p>\n McPherson continued: \u201cHe was an actor\u2019s actor. Filmmakers loved him. He\u2019s been the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s. He was really proud of his performance this year. He\u2019s been so happy with the work that I got him. He\u2019s had a balanced career.\u201d<\/p>\n The Hair<\/em> star is survived by his and Van Sant\u2019s two children: son Gill Williams, 31, and daughter Elinor \u201cEllie\u201d Williams, 25.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a pain I have never felt. I am absolutely shattered,\u201d Ellie wrote via her Instagram Story<\/a> several hours after Treat\u2019s death made headlines, sharing a throwback photo of her father. \u201cThank you to everyone who has sent messages and kept our family in your hearts during this terrible heartbreak.\u201d<\/p>\n Treat was laid to rest<\/a> at a private memorial service on Monday, June 19, in Vermont, which was where he lived. Vermont had long been his favorite place to spend time.<\/p>\n The Chesapeake Shores<\/em> alum started traveling to the Green Mountain State during family vacations when he was growing up, and he bought his home there with Van Sant at the beginning of their marriage.<\/p>\n \u201cI bought the house that we\u2019re in 35 years ago. I\u2019ve always had an enormous love for Vermont, both in winter and summer,\u201d Treat gushed to Vermont<\/em><\/a> magazine in 2021. \u201cThere was something incredibly special about it to me, and the people here are incredibly honest, real, and good-humored. There\u2019s also always something new to discover somewhere on a dirt road that you\u2019ve never traveled on before.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor added at the time: \u201cI think very few people are lucky as I am to say, \u2018I love where I live.\u2019 I don\u2019t have any fantasies of being somewhere else. I have everything I want and need in Vermont.
