\t\t<\/p>\n Sophie Thatcher<\/strong>, Joe Alwyn<\/strong>, and Erin Kellyman<\/strong> are teaming up for a new movie.<\/p>\n On Monday (April 27), Deadline<\/a><\/em> announced that the three actors have been cast in the upcoming thriller Cavendish<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Christopher Andrews<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>The film\u2019s synopsis reads: \u201c1645: Accused of witchcraft on her wedding day, a privileged young bride (Thatcher<\/strong>) is pursued by a ruthless witch hunter (Alwyn<\/strong>). Forced into an uneasy alliance with a sharp-witted poacher living on the margins of society (Kellyman<\/strong>), the two women fight back, turning their powerlessness into strength through violence, wit, and defiance.\u201d<\/p>\n The movie is developed by in collaboration with BBC Film and also received funding from the Polish Film Institute\u2019s cash rebate program. Cornerstone will handle international sales and distribution and will commence sales at Cannes. CAA Media Finance is handling domestic. <\/p>\n Christopher Andrews<\/strong> is best known for his debut feature Bring Them Down<\/em>, which premiered at TIFF<\/em> in Special Presentation in 2024. He won the Douglans Hickox Award for Outstanding Debut Director at the 2024 British Independent Film Awards<\/em>.<\/p>\n Production for Cavendish<\/em> is scheduled to begin in Poland in September.<\/p>\n Joe<\/strong>\u2018s casting in Cavendish<\/em> comes weeks after it was also announced that he is one of the actors<\/a> that will be playing Juno Temple<\/strong>\u2018s multiple husbands in the upcoming Apple TV series The Husbands.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
