\t\t<\/p>\n The identity of the gunman from the 2026 White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner<\/em><\/strong><\/a> has been revealed. <\/p>\n According to CNN<\/a><\/em>, sources reveal that the man has been identified as Cole Thomas Allen<\/strong>, a 31-year-old from California. <\/p>\n This comes after President Trump<\/strong> shared <\/a>photos of the gunman on his Truth Social account, as well as a surveillance video of the man running through the hotel before authorities took action. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The interim chief of police for Washington, DC, Jeffery Carroll<\/strong>, told reporters that Cole<\/strong> appears to be the lone gunman, and was armed with a shotgun, a handgun and multiple knives. <\/p>\n \u201cHe was armed with a shotgun, a handgun and multiple knives,\u201d he said. \u201cAs he ran through that checkpoint, members of law enforcement from the United States Secret Service intercepted that individual.\u201d <\/p>\n He added that Cole<\/strong> and law enforcement \u201cexchanged gunfire.\u201d<\/p>\n During a press conference, US Attorney Jeanine Pirro<\/strong> stated that he will be charged with using a firearm during a crime of violence, and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon.
