The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County <\/i><\/a>cast are weighing in on the swirling speculation that Jen Affleck <\/b><\/a>was meant to join the MomTok spinoff.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess I\u2019m curious as well,\u201d McCall Dapron <\/b>told Entertainment Tonight<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>at Hulu\u2019s Get Real event on Wednesday, April 22. \u201cI was surprised when we went to glam before this that she wasn\u2019t with us. I heard she was sick, but I have no clue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jen, 26, is one of the OG stars on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/i>, the hit Hulu reality TV show about a group of young Mormon mom influencers living in Utah. Jen and her husband, Zac Affleck<\/b>, have since relocated to California<\/a> full-time, sparking rumors that she would lead a Hulu spinoff.<\/p>\n

Hulu announced on Wednesday that an OC-set version of Mormon Wives<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>is in development starring McCall, one of Mayci Neeley<\/b>\u2019s sisters, as well as Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Bobbi Althoff, Salom\u00e9 Andrea, Ashleigh Pease, Madison Bontempo<\/b> and Chandler Higginson<\/b>. There has been no official word whether Jen was ever meant to appear on Mormon Wives: Orange County \u2014 <\/i>or will make a potential cameo down the line.<\/p>\n

Hulu announced on Wednesday, April 22, that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County is coming later this year. \u201cA new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion: they [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cShe lives where we all live,\u201d Avery, 31, added to ET, <\/i>weighing in on the speculation. <\/i>\u201cShe\u2019s a part of the Orange County mom group, and I think we\u2019re all just trying to be there for her as much as we can as a supportive friend [in] finding a new community out here since she left Utah.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aspyn, for her part, noted that she\u2019s \u201cnot sure\u201d whether Jen\u2019s move will be chronicled on the Utah series or the California spinoff. (The original series recently resumed production on season 5 after halting amid Taylor Frankie Paul<\/b>\u2019s domestic violence investigation. Taylor, 31, denied the accusations before police declined to press charges earlier in April. It\u2019s not known whether she will return<\/a> to the show.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t seen [Jen] yet,\u201d Aspyn, 30, teased of the first few episodes of Mormon Wives: Orange County. <\/i>\u201cI think I will see her soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aspyn, Avery and McCall have only filmed a handful of scenes for their new show thus far.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a very mixed cast,\u201d McCall, 36, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>at Wednesday\u2019s event. \u201cThere\u2019s, like,\u00a0 a couple girls that are similar to me. We\u2019re traditional housewives, and there\u2019s a couple girls that are girlbosses with big podcasts and have been in the influencing world for a while.\u201d<\/p>\n
