Demi Lovato<\/a>‘s husband made a surprise appearance at her concert on Friday (24.04.26) night to duet on their wedding song.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Jutes joined wife Demi Lovato on stage<\/p>\n
The Cool for the Summer hitmaker – who tied the knot with Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes in May 2025 – brought her It’s Not That Deep tour to New York’s Madison Square Garden and midway through the show, her spouse stepped out to sing the Goo Goo Dolls’ Iris.<\/p>\n
Fans shared video footage of the couple’s duet, with the audience also joining in on the 1998 ballad.<\/p>\n
Demi previously admitted she and Judes were “so grateful” that Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik agreed to perform the timeless rock track for the first dance at their wedding.<\/p>\n
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: : \u201cWe were so grateful to have him perform.”<\/p>\n
\nDemi gushed that it was a \u201creally cute and sweet\u201d moment.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cWe had an amazing wedding. He is just my whole world. I love him so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd Jutes- recently admitted he will be “forever grateful” to John for his powerful performance.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on The Zach Sang Show, the 34-year-old musician said: \u201cThat\u2019s like one of the coolest things.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat was, in the moment, me and Demi were looking at each other and I was just like, \u2018What\u2019s going on right now?\u2019 I was like, \u2018This is the most iconic song ever. He\u2019s right there and it\u2019s for us.\u2019 Such a legend for doing that. Forever grateful.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was just like, \u2018This is actually a movie moment. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on.’<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was just him and an acoustic [guitar]. I was thinking, \u2019cause I looked up the acoustic version, a couple different acoustic versions online, and they were kind of more chill. So I was like that\u2019s obviously what he\u2019s going to do. There\u2019s no way he\u2019s going to come in and just like rip. And he just ripped it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe had everyone singing. I was like, \u2018Dude, this is like a sold out concert leve.’ He really killed it. It was unreal.”<\/p>\n
\nAhead of the wedding, Demi had admitted she was keen to have the Goo Goo Dolls perform during the reception.<\/p>\n
\nShe said on Today back in February 2024: “I would love the Goo Goo Dolls to be able to perform Iris at my wedding as a first dance. That would be so special and so incredible.”<\/p>\n
