Cyndi Lauper <\/b><\/a>is clearly not one to be messed with.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what the f*** he\u2019s saying,\u201d Lauper, 72, said in the middle of her Friday, April 24, concert in Las Vegas after an attendee shouted at her from the crowd, per footage obtained by Us Weekly. <\/i>\u201cPlease remember where you are, OK?\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cIf you\u2019re trying to shade me bitch, I\u2019m going to come for you. I\u2019m from Brooklyn, and if I want to f**ing talk, I will do a tap dance if I f**ing want.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauper was met with a rousing round of applause from the remaining concertgoers before continuing with\u00a0 the opening night of her Las Vegas residency<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCyndi Lauper is a Swiftie! The legendary singer-songwriter recently appeared on the BBC\u2019s The One Show\u00a0and had nothing but good things to say about Taylor Swift. \u201cI like her. I think she\u2019s terrific,\u201d Lauper, 71, shared. The \u201cGirls Just Want to Have Fun\u201d singer, who recently announced her farewell tour, went on to praise the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHey, we\u2019re in Vegas! I can\u2019t believe it,\u201d the music icon said in a Facebook<\/span><\/a> video earlier this week, teasing her upcoming run of concerts. \u201c[There] will be a couple of surprises in the show, but you have to come and see it. Not gonna tell you. I\u2019m excited! Anyway, come on down [because] it\u2019ll be a night of Cyn! I\u2019ll see you at the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauper previously wrapped her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Tour <\/i>before tackling the Sin City stage. She called the tour her \u201cfarewell\u201d concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an arena tour, which I haven\u2019t done in a long time,\u201d Lauper told USA Today <\/i>in June 2024<\/span><\/a> after announcing the concerts. \u201cI just want to thank everybody, say goodbye, celebrate with fans that have been so loyal and sweet and were there for every crazy-ass concert or thing that I did and I\u2019m excited about doing it. I don\u2019t think physically in another five years I will be as good, but now I can do it, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n
