an April 13 ruling that struck out most of the claims brought by Bilaal, who had described himself as a longtime friend of her husband <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/will-smith\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,will-smith\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Will Smith<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Jada\u2019s legal team argued she is entitled to recover her attorneys\u2019 fees in full, stating the costs are reasonable. <\/p>\n<p>In a separate filing, her lawyers also asked the court to rule entirely in her favour, awarding Bilaal nothing and granting \u201cany other and further relief the Court considers just and proper\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Bilaal filed the lawsuit in November 2025, alleging Jada confronted him at a party in 2021 and issued threats after he discussed her personal life. <\/p>\n<p>\nHe claimed she told him he would \u201cend up missing or catch a bullet\u201d if he continued \u201ctelling her personal business\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>\nThe complaint further alleged Jada led a \u201cretaliatory campaign\u201d against him after he refused to assist with crisis management following Will\u2019s on-stage assault of Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards.<\/p>\n<p>\nBilaal claimed threats were made over a planned memoir, alleging he was urged to \u201cwork something out\u201d and to \u201cend this feud before you get physically hurt\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>\nHe said the situation caused damage to his reputation, deteriorating health and financial losses, describing Jada\u2019s actions as \u201cmalicious, intentional, and reckless conduct\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nIn response, Jada rejected the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe said the claims were \u201cnonsense\u201d and argued they were \u201cfalse, uncorroborated, and made to generate attention as part of an ongoing public campaign of harassment directed at\u201d her and her family. <\/p>\n<p>\nJada also accused Bilaal of being \u201cfixated\u201d on her family and said the lawsuit was punishing her for \u201cconstitutionally protected speech on a matter of public interest about her family\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nCourt records show Jada and Bilaal are scheduled to return for a case management conference on May 13, with a further hearing on the motion for attorney fees set for May 18. <\/p>\n<p>\nJada has previously spoken publicly about her relationship with Will, revealing in a 2023 interview with People they had been separated for seven years. <\/p>\n<p>\nShe said: \u201cWe\u2019ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cWe just got deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--
