\t\t<\/p>\n Stephen Colbert<\/strong>\u2018s long-running and popular late-night talk show host might be coming to an end soon, but he just booked a major guest for his \u201cfinal stretch.\u201d<\/p>\n This week, Stephen<\/strong> announced that he would be sitting down with former President Barack Obama<\/strong><\/a> on the May 6 episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cFolks before we get started, I have a quick but exciting announcement. Tuesday May 5 here on The Late Show<\/em> in his first interview from the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, I will be sitting down with former President Barack Obama<\/strong>,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n He also re-shared the clip on his Instagram<\/a> in a joint post with the official Obama Foundation account.<\/p>\n \u201cCouch booked. But he also had him on the CBS show in 2016 and 2020. <\/p>\n CBS recently revealed what they plan to put in the Late Show<\/em>\u2018s slot<\/a> when it comes to an end on May 21.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Obama<\/strong>\u2018s production company with former First Lady Michelle Obama<\/strong> will go independent this year<\/a> after their partnership with Netflix comes to an end.<\/p>\n Plus, the former President will also guest star on Larry David<\/strong>\u2018s upcoming HBO series.
