Kate Hudson<\/a> asked: “What\u2019s the pettiest thing you and your partner fight over?\u201d<\/p>\nBrenda admitted: “One thing that we can argue about is we do play Mario Kart sometimes, like, in bed.<\/p>\n
“And then we get very, very competitive and we will like get like mildly mad at each other, for like cutting me off or like winning, beating me last minute.<\/p>\n
\n“That\u2019s probably the pettiest thing.”<\/p>\n
\nBrenda and Macaulay met through mutual friend Seth Green and started dating in 2017, before getting engaged in 2022.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple now have songs Dakota, five, and Carson, three, together, and their bond has only got stronger over the years.<\/p>\n
\nSuite Life of Zack and Cody actress Brenda told Access Hollywood: “I think that\u2019s what was so beautiful. I always say he\u2019s like my unicorn. I wasn\u2019t going to settle for anything, but he is exactly what I was hoping to look for…<\/p>\n
\n“He understands my work, we can talk about football, we talk about basketball, we can cook together. I think I just really lucked out.”<\/p>\n
\nWhen it comes to their children, Brenda takes every opportunity to improve Dakota and Carson’s safety skills.<\/p>\n
\nThe Operation Taco Gary\u2019s cast member explained: “I said, \u2018They’re a stranger if you don’t know their name.’<\/p>\n
\n“I was like, ‘It doesn’t matter if they’re someone’s parents. If you don’t know their name, or you’ve never seen them before at our house, they are a stranger.’<\/p>\n
\n“Everywhere we go, I\u2019m like, ‘How do we get home?’ Every building we go in, like, ‘How did we get here? How do we get out?’<\/p>\n
\n“I was teaching them exit signs.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd Macaulay has shared how he feels about his partner stressing the importance of safety to their children.<\/p>\n
\nBrenda said: “My partner thinks I’m absolutely crazy about it.”<\/p>\n
