Jelly Roll<\/strong><\/a> is speaking candidly about his weight loss journey.<\/p>\n In a new YouTube<\/a> video posted on April 18, the 41-year-old country music singer, whose real name is Jason DeFord, admitted that he\u2019s been feeling \u201cscared\u201d to step on the scale after saying that he\u2019s \u201clost\u201d his \u201cway\u201d amid his journey to shed pounds.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Jelly Roll<\/strong> said that he had decided to \u201cenjoy the holidays\u201d and be a little less strict in terms of his diet, before breaking his collarbone at the end of last year, which meant he had to \u201cquit\u201d running, walking and exercising for a \u201cperiod of time.\u201d <\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t know, Jelly Roll<\/strong> started his weight loss journey in 2023 when he weighed over 500lbs. In his Men\u2019s Health<\/em> cover story, published in January, the Grammy winner revealed that he had dropped 275lbs.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe hit the goal and it was right before the holidays, so I was like, \u2018You know what man, I\u2019ve been working hard for the last three years losing this weight, I\u2019m going to enjoy the holidays,\u2019\u201d he recalled in the new video.<\/p>\n \u201cI had a big Thanksgiving meal, I had a big birthday meal, I ate a big Christmas meal,\u201d he continued. \u201cKinda got off the rails and I broke my collarbone\u2026a few days before Christmas.\u201d <\/p>\n
