Jelly Roll wants to lose more weight<\/p>\n
\nThe 41-year-old singer – who weighed over 500lbs in 2023 but had slimmed down to 265lbs on the dayhe shot a Men’s Health magazine cover last November – admitted he has been “avoiding the scale” over the last few months after deciding to “enjoy the holidays” and indulge in “big meals”, as well as being less active due to an injury, so was scared to have a new weigh in ahead of returning to his diet.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking in a YouTube video, Jelly said: We hit the goal and it was right before the holidays, so I was like, ‘You know what man, I\u2019ve been working hard for the last three years losing this weight, I\u2019m going to enjoy the holidays.’ <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI had a big Thanksgiving meal, I had a big birthday meal, I ate a big Christmas meal. Kinda got off the rails and I broke my collarbone … a few days before Christmas.<\/p>\n
\n“I have, to some degree, lost my way.<\/p>\n
\n “I am scared too, y’all.<\/p>\n
\n“I feel really fat. I feel really bloated. I feel like this scale is going to let me down. I feel like I’m going to find out I’ve gained like 15lbs..”<\/p>\n
\nHe then turned the camera to his feet to show a digital scale reading of 276.2lbs.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “That’s our reality right there. So, we’re up 12 lbs.”<\/p>\n
\nBut now, the Son of a Sinner hitmaker has set his sights on running the New York Marathon and hopes to shed another 40-50lbs before the race on 1 November.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI\u2019ve never ran a marathon or thought about running a marathon.<\/p>\n
\n“This new coach I got has me doing intervals, right?<\/p>\n
\n“So, run five minutes, walk five minutes, run five minutes, walk five minutes, and I’ll do it for an amount of time instead of an amount of miles. That’s been a really cool change of pace for me.<\/p>\n
\n“Today was a walk 45 minutes day. I put on a weighted vest, which doesn’t fit me. It’s 2X. I’m not a 2X yet…Dude, that weighted vest was only 11 and 12 lbs and it kicked my a**.'”<\/p>\n
\nJelly has also set his sights on posing topless for a magazine.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I know it\u2019s getting real silly now, but I just believe there’s a story that a guy can go from 560 lbs. to a shirt off picture, it\u2019s absurd.”<\/p>\n
