Madonna<\/a>‘s representative had filed a missing property report for two bags containing clothing and jewellery, which had last been seen on a golf cart within the grounds of the festival.<\/p>\nStaff had driven the cart to a bus but when they arrived at a hotel, it emerged the bags were missing.<\/p>\n
Police’s preliminary investigation found the cart had been driven on a dark, bumpy road and suggested the bags had fallen out during the journey, rather than deliberately taken.<\/p>\n
\nTheir report stated: “There is no evidence to suggest the bags were intentionally stolen.”<\/p>\n
\nMadonna had previously taken to Instagram to express her hope that “some kind soul” would find and return the treasured costume pieces.<\/p>\n
\nIn a post on Instagram, she wrote: “Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible … <\/p>\n
\n“This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing – my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments. These aren\u2019t just clothes, they are part of my history.<\/p>\n
\n“Other archival items from the same era went missing as well. I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team … “<\/p>\n
\nMadonna went on to add: “I\u2019m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all My Heart.”<\/p>\n
\nThe singe appeared on stage while Sabrina, 26, was singing Juno, appearing during the lyric \u201cHave you ever tried this one?\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe song then cut to Madonna\u2019s Vogue, which the pair sang together, along with Like A Prayer and a new track, which is believed to be from Madonna\u2019s upcoming Confessions II. <\/p>\n
\nAfter the performance, Madonna thanked Sabrina for the collaboration, saying: \u201cSabrina, thank you so much for inviting me on your show,\u201d and Sabrina replied: \u201cNo thanks needed, Madonna. You can have whatever you want.”<\/p>\n
\nMadonna went on to reminisce about her last performance at Coachella, two decades ago.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI have a few things I wanna get off my chest. 20 years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed, Confessions on the Dance Floor Part One in America. <\/p>\n
\n“And that was such a thrill for me, so you can imagine what a thrill it is for me to be back 20 years later in the same boots, the same corset, the jacket I had on earlier, the same Gucci jacket. So, it\u2019s like a full circle moment, very meaningful for me. <\/p>\n
\n“So in all circumstances for the rest of the month, let\u2019s try to get along, okay? And to that point, the great thing about music is that it brings people together, am I right? It\u2019s the one place that people have to put their differences aside, put their s*** down, and just everybody have a good time together, right?<\/p>\n
\n“So I am thrilled to be a part of that healing experience, bringing people together.”<\/p>\n
