He stated that he was still \u201ccourageously battling\u201d the following year and was forced to cancel his tour as a result.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly grateful to my team of doctors,\u201d Mason wrote in a statement at the time \u201cThis has been challenging territory, to say the least.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mason is survived by his wife, Winifred Wilson, and daughter Danielle.
