Its first season was the second most expensive show ever made, after Amazon&#8217;s own <i>The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power<\/i>, and was reportedly plagued by <a href=\"https:\/\/ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com\/125517417.html?view=comments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">behind-the-scenes drama<\/a> between producers. It still got a season 2 renewal ahead of its first episode dropping. However, it <a href=\"https:\/\/ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com\/126165899.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flopped in ratings<\/a> upon release and attempts to turn it into a franchise with international spin-offs ended in cancelations.
