Welcome to Plathville<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Barry Plath<\/strong> is ready to start dating again after his divorce from Kim Plath<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 but his dream girl, Sandra Bullock<\/strong><\/a>, may be a bit out of his league.<\/p>\n

Barry, 58, identified Bullock, 61, as his ideal type while meeting with a matchmaker in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive sneak peek at the Tuesday, April 21, episode of the TLC series.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor some reason I just love olive toned skin. I don\u2019t know why that is. I really do,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n

When asked what \u201ctype\u201d of women he\u2019d be \u201cmore drawn to\u201d in a room full of eligible bachelorettes, Barry replied, \u201cI guess in four words, the Sandra Bullock look. Yeah, I like Sandra.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barry pointed to Bullock\u2019s role in 1994\u2019s Speed<\/em><\/a> alongside Keanu Reeves<\/strong><\/a> as something that stood out to him. \u201cI mean, keep driving, keep driving,\u201d he said, referring to the movie\u2019s premise in which Reeves, 61, and Bullock\u2019s characters are stuck on a bus set to blow up if they go below 50 miles per hour.<\/p>\n

In addition to looking like the Practical Magic<\/em><\/a> actress, Barry revealed the personality traits he desires after separating from Kim<\/a> in December 2021.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWelcome to Plathville stars Kim and Barry Plath went their separate ways after two decades of marriage. \u201cAfter considerable thought and discussion, we have decided to end our marriage,\u201d the exes told Us Weekly in a joint June 2022 statement. \u201cWhile this was not an easy decision, we know it\u2019s the best choice for both [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cRight now, the word that\u2019s coming to mind is nurturer,\u201d Barry told his matchmaker. \u201cI feel in past relationships maybe a little deficient in that area.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barry \u2014 who was married to Kim for more than two decades<\/a> \u2014 seemingly took another jab at his former spouse, 53, when he confirmed he wanted someone \u201csoft and sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAlpha females are not \u2014 I\u2019m not that attracted to. I\u2019ve kind of been there, done [that],\u201d Barry said. \u201cI\u2019m kind of put off by overly controlling [women]. Exceptionally put off by manipulation now.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it comes to his relationship faults, Barry admitted he has a few of his own.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can tell you right now I\u2019m a work in progress,\u201d he shared. \u201cSo I\u2019m learning from past mistakes and I\u2019m moving forward with the mindset of, \u2018Well, how can I better myself?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

As fans of Welcome to Plathville<\/em> know, Barry and Kim were married 24 years before they announced their split in June 2022. The exes share nine children<\/a>, eight of which appear on the reality show. (Kim and Barry\u2019s 10th child, son Joshua<\/a>, died in 2008 at 17 months old following an accident on their farm.)<\/p>\n
