The 33-year-old singer had been due to appear on the programme hosted by Jimmy on Tuesday (21.04.26) to promote his forthcoming fifth studio album Konnakol.<\/p>\n
But he \u201cisn\u2019t able to due to doctor\u2019s recommendations\u201d, according to a source cited by People. <\/p>\n
The same insider said: \u201cHe\u2019s still working through his health issues.\u201d <\/p>\n
Zayn was reportedly planning to consult what was described as the \u201cNo. 1 cardiologist in the world\u201d, following an unexpected hospital stay last week. <\/p>\n
\nA representative for the singer did not respond to a request for comment from Page Six.<\/p>\n
\nZayn addressed fans directly on social media following his hospitalisation. <\/p>\n
\nHe said online: \u201cTo my fans \u2013 thank you to all of you for your love and support now and always \u2013 been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cHeartbroken that I can\u2019t see you all this week, I wouldn\u2019t be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nZayn also thanked hospital staff, including nurses and cardiologists, saying: \u201cYou are all legends. Big big love xx z.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe nature of the performer\u2019s condition remains unclear, as he has not disclosed further details about his hospital treatment. <\/p>\n
\nThe cancellation of the Jimmy Fallon television appearance follows a disrupted promotional schedule, which had also included a planned event at the Rough Trade Below store in New York City on Monday.<\/p>\n
\nZayn is expected to begin a tour in May at the AO Arena in Manchester, with dates scheduled through to November, concluding in Miami. <\/p>\n
\nThe singer has been promoting both the album and tour through social media in recent weeks.<\/p>\n
\nZayn has a daughter, Khai, five, with model Gigi Hadid and his most recent tour, the Stairway to the Sky shows, stretched from November 2024 to March 2025. <\/p>\n
\nDuring that period, his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne died at the age of 31. <\/p>\n
\nZayn temporarily paused the tour before returning to the stage, where he paid tribute to the singer.<\/p>\n
