\t\t<\/p>\n West Wilson<\/strong><\/a> is addressing the reactions to his relationship with Amanda Batula<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month, West<\/strong>, 31, and Amanda<\/strong>, 34, shocked fans and their Summer House <\/em>co-stars when they officially confirmed that they were dating<\/a>. The news came as a big blow to their co-star and Amanda<\/strong>\u2018s close friend Ciara Miller<\/strong>, who previously dated West<\/strong> a few summers ago.<\/p>\n This also marks Amanda<\/strong>\u2018s first public relationship since splitting from husband, and fellow Summer House<\/em> star, Kyle Cooke<\/strong> earlier this year.<\/p>\n During the Monday (April 20) episode of his Show Me Something<\/em> podcast<\/a>, West<\/strong> addressed the backlash he and Amanda<\/strong> have faced since going public and also clarified their relationship timeline.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cThere was no overlap. I know there\u2019s a thousand different theories on the internet right now but that is one thing that for sure did not happen,\u201d West<\/strong> told co-host Sophie Cunningham<\/em>. \u201cEveryone was single.\u201d<\/p>\n West<\/strong> went on to say that he and Amanda<\/strong> \u201crealized things\u201d between them were \u201ca little bit serious.\u201d<\/p>\n After confirming that they were in fact dating, West<\/strong> said that he\u2019s been laying low and staying off his phone. However, he has reached out to some of his Summer House<\/em> co-stars to explain things.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve sent some texts. Haven\u2019t gotten responses from everybody yet, which is to be expected and I get it. That\u2019s the hardest part,\u201d he admitted. \u201cI think with this whole situation is my actions have hurt people I care about.
