When it comes to The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/a>,<\/em> a sequel for spring is<\/em> groundbreaking. After moving at a glacial pace\u2014it\u2019s been 20 years since the original 2006 film<\/a>\u2014the movie is having its world premiere on Monday evening, reintroducing a select group of New Yorkers to Meryl Streep\u2019s Miranda Priestly, the chicly domineering editor in chief of Runway<\/em> magazine.<\/p>\n Streep will be joined by costars Anne Hathaway,<\/a> Emily Blunt<\/a>, and Stanley Tucci<\/a> at New York\u2019s David Geffen Hall, with Lincoln Center serving as the ultimate spot to strike a pose on the Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em> red carpet. But devoted fans of the first film, which, like its sequel, was directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, need not be near the devil or her Prada to watch the star-studded red-carpet arrivals.<\/p>\n Ahead of the film\u2019s May 1 theatrical release, the Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em> premiere is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET on Monday, April 20.
