\t\t<\/p>\n Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her battle with a mental health condition.<\/p>\n On Sunday (April 19), the 31-year-old The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> star revealed that she was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) two years ago.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI was diagnosed with PTSD about two years ago which I assume is now CPTSD \u2026 by more than one therapist for all those that assumed diagnoses,\u201d Taylor<\/strong> wrote on her Instagram Story<\/a>.<\/p>\n CPTSD, which stands for Complex post-traumatic stress disorder, can \u201cresult from experiencing chronic trauma, such as prolonged child abuse or domestic violence,\u201d according to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s closely related to PTSD and borderline personality disorder. CPTSD is manageable with psychotherapy (talk therapy) and medication.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor<\/strong> also shared a video of herself from 2024 where she bites on her lips while looking in the distance. \u201cJust incase [you] didn\u2019t know what dissociation and anxiety look like,\u201d she wrote over the video.<\/p>\n In a separate video from 2025, Taylor <\/strong>was seen smiling for the camera as she explained that she could tell that she \u201cdisassociated\u201d when she pulled out her car keys to open her hotel room door. <\/p>\n \u201cSat there for a couple minutes trying to open my hotel door,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n In another Story, Taylor<\/strong> shared an image of herself smiling on the red carpet at the TIME100 Creators<\/em> event in 2025 along with a video of her applying lipgloss.<\/p>\n \u201cHow many of us are masters of smiling through it?\u201d she wrote on the slide. \u201cI cry a lot and high chance someone next to you does this and you have no idea. I just want to heal so I can try and help people in this.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor<\/strong>\u2018s latest social media posts come after she was cleared on domestic violence charges<\/a> amid her ongoing drama with ex Dakota Mortensen<\/strong>.
