\t\t<\/p>\n Eddie Murphy<\/strong> and Martin Lawrence<\/strong> now share a grandchild!<\/p>\n While stepping out for the American Film Institute Achievement Award Ceremony<\/em> on Saturday (April 18), Eddie<\/strong> announced that his son Eric Murphy<\/strong> and his wife Jasmin Lawrence<\/strong>, who is Martin<\/strong>\u2018s daughter, just recently welcomed their first child together.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Eric<\/strong>, 36, and Jasmin<\/strong>, 30, welcomed a baby girl, who they named Ari Skye<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cThey just had a baby girl,\u201d Eddie <\/strong>told E! News<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThey just had her two weeks ago, or a week ago. Yeah, Ari. Ari Skye.\u201d <\/p>\n When asked if he or Martin<\/strong> have given the new parents any advice about raising kids, Eddie<\/strong> explained that parenting is something that \u201cyou don\u2019t give advice\u201d about.<\/p>\n \u201cOh, you don\u2019t give advice like that,\u201d he shared. \u201cYou know, your kids don\u2019t go by your advice. Your kids go by the example you set. They watch you.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe stuff you be saying, they don\u2019t even pay that s\u2013t no mind,\u201d Eddie<\/strong> added. \u201cThey watch and see what you do. So, I don\u2019t give a lot of advice.\u201d <\/p>\n Eric<\/strong> and Jasmin<\/strong> first went public with their relationship in July 2021 and got engaged in November 2024. They then eloped in May 2025<\/a> and announced that Jasmin<\/strong> was pregnant this past February.<\/p>\n Congrats to the new parents!
